Turned Pro in 1993.

Lives in Worksop with his wife Laurae (Andrew Coltard's sister).

He joined the world golfing stage in August 1996 with his victory in the Volvo Scandinavian Masters.

Played for the European Ryder Cup team in Valderama - 1997.

He was named European Tour Golfer of the Year in 1998.

He came second in the Volvo Order of Merit for the European Tour 1999.

Played for the European Ryder Cup team in Boston - 1999.

He won the Volvo Order of Merit in 2000.

OTHER FACTS
A big Nottingham Forest fan, Lee claims the only time he ever gets nervous is when he is watching Forest play (I know the feeling well).

Lee is a shareholder in Sheffield United.

Lee has managed four holes-in-one so far and all have been on his home course, Worksop Golf Club.
