Another 90 minutes of sheer frustration at The City Ground Tonight, as Forest spent most of this game battering Norwich but still only came away with one point and at this stage of the season, at Home, it's not really good enough.

No-one can fault the effort shown here tonight, but yet again a silly defensive blunder has cost Forest dearly, and yet another Red card did little to help the cause.

Forest had the perfect start, going a goal up after only 14 SECONDS. Scimeca fired the ball upfield, Freedman headed into the path of Lester and Jack the Lad swung his foot at it immediately and saw ir rocket past Marshall and into the net.

Everything seemed to be going well until Louis-Jean made the kind of error usually only seen at schoolboy level, gifting the ball to Roberts inside the 6 yard box, and the striker made no mistake, planting the ball firmly past Beasant, who had no chance at all.

The game should have been well won long before Quashie received his marching orders for two yellow card offences. Two disallowed goals, 13 corners and 20 attempts on goal underline just how dominant The Reds were, but games need to be won. So, a good performance but a disappointing result. Off to Portsmouth next, and that won't be easy either.
