Forest moved back into fourth place this afternoon after being held to a 0-0 draw by Derby.
Forest had dominated much of the first half and should have gone in 1-0 up at the break thanks to David Johnson, unfortunately a blind linesman had other ideas.
Forest were forced into a change at half time due to some heavy tackles on Bopp. The German teenager was unable to continue and Gareth Williams took his place for the second half.
The change seemed to unbalance the Forest side for a while and Derby took full advantage as they went on to dominate the second half.
However, despite Derby's dominance in the second half Forest could have nicked the game on two occasions, first as Derby keeper, Lee Grant, came out to smother the ball from Jim Brennan he collided with his own defender and spilled the ball. Brennan picked up the loose ball but snatched at his shot, which went wide.
Then, in the dying seconds of the game Marlon Harewood outpaced the Derby defence and found himslef one-on-one with Grant. Unfortunately Harewood had put the ball too far in front of himself and the Derby keeper managed to block the shot before the Derby defence cleared it.
