| Paul Hart finally got to see his team in action this evening as Forest played their first pre-season friendly in this country.

| The squad travelled to Underhill today to face Barnet, who lost their league status at the end of last season.

| Forest were comfortable for the whole game, however, they left it until nine minutes from the end before opening the scoring.

| The first goal came from Jermain Jenas who curled in a superb shot from just outside the 18-yard box.

| Two minutes later Jack Lester added the second as Forest turned up the pressure. And in injury time Keith Foy fired home a superb free-kick.
