From North (M1): Exit M1 at junction 2 (s/p North Circ. Road East A406, The City A1). Follow signs for The City A1 for 1.7 miles to junction with North Circular Road. Turn left onto North Circular, and keep in right hand lanes for the A1 (Falloden Way) as it branches off to the right. At junction/lights after 1.8 miles follow London A1 signs - head towards the Esso garage and get in left-hand lanes, straight on into Archway Road. At roundabout after 1.4 miles (Archway Corner), take 2nd exit (s/p The City A1, Nags Head, Highbury Corner). After 1.4 miles, pass under railway bridge and pass University of North London on left hand side, and after further 0.2 miles turn left at 2nd lights (n/s, just past Delight Supermarket/London Furnishers on left hand side) into Drayton Park. Straight over mini-roundabout, and ground is on right hand side after 0.4 miles.
From East: Exit M25 at junction 25, and at roundabout follow signs to Enfield A10, Central London onto the A10. Follow Central London A10 signs for 5.1 miles to Great Cambridge Junction roundabout. Go straight on (s/p Central London A10). After 1.0 miles, bear right where road divides (s/p West End A400) into The Roundway. Where road divides after 0.7 miles (by Poacher's pub), bear right (s/p West End A400) and then immediately left (s/p Hornsey, Manor House, West End A400) into Westbury Avenue. At lights after 0.7 miles, by Turnpike Lane station, turn left into Green Lanes. After 1.4 miles, turn right (by Manor Park tube, s/p West End A503) into Seven Sisters Road. After 0.6 miles turn left (just past KFC Express, opposite Finsbury Park Tavern) into Blackstock Road. Keep left where road divides, and turn right after 0.3 miles (after Nergiz Supermarket) into Gillespie Road to ground.
From West (M4): The stretch of the North Circular Road between the M4 (Chiswick Roundabout) and the A1 turn-off is now mostly dual carriageway, and an excellent way of skirting round central London. Pass over the M25. After 8.4 miles exit M4 (s/p M1 The North, A406 North Circular Road). Follow North Circular signs onto North Circular dual carriageway. Keep on North Circular Road (A406), turning right (3rd exit) at the Hanger Lane Giratory after 2.8 miles. Continue for 6.2 miles, then get in right hand lanes for A1 (s/p City A1). Then as From North (M1).
From South London (Blackwall Tunnel): (For directions to Blackwall Tunnel see London road guide). Exit A102 after 1.1 miles and follow A11 City signs onto the A11 Bow Road. Turn right at lights after 1.0 miles (by Mile End tube, s/p Hackney A1205) into Grove Road. At roundabout after 0.7 miles, go straight on through country estate. At next roundabout after 0.3 miles turn left (n/s) into Victoria Park Road. At lights at T-junction after 0.6 miles, turn right (opposite Elbe Footwear, s/p Hackney, Clapton) onto A107 Mare Street. After 0.9 miles turn left, just after Hackney Empire (s/p Clapton, Dalston) into Graham Road. Straight on for 2.1 miles to Highbury Corner roundabout. Take 4th exit (s/p The North A1 M1, Aylesbury) into A1 Holloway Road. Pass Shell Station after 0.4 miles and take next right turn at lights into Drayton Park. Then as From North (M1).

By rail:
The stadium is served by two tube stations these are: Arsenal (Piccadilly Line): This station is right by the ground.
Finsbury Park (Victoria Line/BR):This station is about 0.5 miles from the ground. There are three exits from this station. The best is the one opening into Station Place - i.e. opposite Muldoons and by the Arsenal World of Sport. Walk alongside the Arsenal World of Sport, cross the road into St Thomas's Road. Where road divides, bear right, keeping on St Thomas's Road to ground.

By bus:
The best routes to the ground are:
No. 29 from Trafalgar Square to Southgate, via the Seven Sisters Road.
No. 210 from Brent Cross Shopping Centre through Highgate to Finsbury Park Tube Station.
No. W2 from Enfield to Finsbury Park Tube Station.
No. W3 from Northumberland Park via Alexandra Palace to Finsbury Park Tube Station.

Trouble Factor:
Generally Highbury is a safe and friendly ground to visit. There are exceptions, but trouble seems to be limited to the visits of local rivals, particularly Spurs.

Car Parking:
Don't even think about it. Mainly residents permit parking round the ground and very strictly enforced. The sensible will park a long way from the ground and take the tube.

Pubs:
Most pubs around the ground are Arsenal pubs. However some do allow well behaved away fans in. Restrictions are tightened when Spurs at the visitors.
If you are a member of your club's supporters club (and you can prove it) you are allowed in to the Arsenal Supporters Club bar (small entrance fee) on the corner of St Thomas' Road and Gillespie Road.
The Marquess Tavern (on Canonbury Street), The World's End (on Stroud Green Road) and The Highbury Barn (in Highbury Park) are all worth a visit and welcome well behaved away fans.

Food:
Usual collection of hot dog stands and burger bars spring up around the ground on match days.
There's a chip shop and a café on Gillespie Road and a little further away there dozens of outlets on the Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road and the Holloway Road.
