Reading

By car:
The Madejski Stadium is visible from the M4 motorway and most motorists will approach it from this road.
Exit the M4 at Junction 11, take the A33 Basingstoke Road towards Reading, following the new relief road round to the left - the ground is well signposted from here.

By rail:
Reading is exceptionally well served by train, with services running direct to and from London Paddington about every I5mins (journey time 40mins).
These trains originate from, or are destined for, Bristol, the West Country or Wales.
There are also direct cross-country links to Oxford, Coventry, Birmingham and Manchester.

By bus:
Emerging through the main station exit, you see the Three Guineas pub - the No. 79 'Football Special' bus departs from opposite the pub's entrance (every 15mins).

Trouble Factor:
Very low.

Car Parking:
The parking situation isn't brilliant. The Stadium's car park and that of the Speedway Stadium next door provide a total of 2,000 parking spaces which are full long before kick-off most match-days.
The club has set up park-and-ride schemes at nearby schools (well signposted).
If you want a pint then park in a multi-storey in Reading town centre.

Pubs:
Another new stadium built out of the city. Yes, you've guessed it - no pubs nearby. Fotunately all the stands have licensed bars and food outlets so you won't go thirsty.
For the more adventurous there are two pubs near the station in Reading, The Firkin is the better in our opinion, but there is also The Three Guineas. Be warned though, neither pub likes fans wearing team colours.
