Steve Spence - Chairman

Steve has been watching Nottingham Forest since 1959, originally
from the Trent End, his first match being Nottingham Forest
v Tooting and Mitcham. Steve played for South Notts. as a
schoolboy and went on to play for Zingari Mens FC and Parkside
FC in the Long Eaton Mens league. Steve became a season ticket
holder when The City Ground became an all-seater stadium,
before this he used to stand in the 'Bridgford Kop'. Steve
joined the Beeston Branch of the Supporters Club during the
1992 / 93 season and became a committee member during the
1994 / 95 season. He helped to organise the Stuart Pearce
Testimonial Dinner in December 1995 and the trip to Munich
in early 1996. Heavily involved in Euro '96, Steve was often
on local radio and appeared on TV. Steve became Chairman of
the Beeston Branch in 1997, a post which he still holds to
this day.
