Bennett out again

Nottingham Forest look set to be without the services of Julian Bennett for the foreseeable future.

It's feared the popular left back suffered damage to the cruciate ligament in his right knee in yesterday's 4-2 home defeat by Doncaster.

If that is confirmed by hospital scans and tests, Bennett is likely to be sidelined for a prolonged period.

Bennett sustained the injury within seconds of joining the action as a half-time substitute but limped out of the action five minutes later leaving Forest, who had already made all three of their substitutions, with just 10 men.

Also causing concern ahead of tomorrow's trip to Norwich are Joel Lynch (hamstring) and Kelvin Wilson (illness).

Bennett replaced Lynch at the interval, while Wilson only lasted for 25 minutes of the Doncaster game.
