Crewe new boy Scott McManus has revealed he rejected
the chance to joining Nottingham Forest in favour of
              moving to Gresty Road.

The 19-year-old left-back signed a two-year deal with the Railwaymen on Monday after having a trial with Championship outfit Forest.
However, the former Manchester United trainee believes his development will be aided by having greater first-team opportunities with the Railwaymen.
He told the Sentinel: "I've been to Nottingham Forest on trial as well, but I've signed where I preferred to come.
"I have a better opportunity here I think, there is a better chance for me to progress with my career."
